Carlos Figueiredo

Carlos Figueiredo graduated in Physics Engineering, at Coimbra University in 1998. Carlos has a large professional experience on private sector, on different fields of activity, and seven years work as entrepreneur. The main focus of their professional experience has been the innovation and the web business development. Currently, he is a PhD student at University of Porto. His research area is about the construction of new web information flows, in the scope of a new mental paradigm (by the predominance shift from left-to-right hemisphere activity). The focusing of the work lies in the social networks activities, solutions about information in context, social capital sharing and narratives of the thought on digital media. In 2010 Carlos was granted with the UT-Austin | Portugal scholarship in Digital Media.
